Abaqus/Standard is an excellent choice for both linear and nonlinear analyses with advanced contact and material modeling:

Abaqus/Explicit is particularly well-suited to simulate brief transient dynamic events such as consumer electronics drop testing, automotive crashworthiness, and ballistic impact. The ability of Abaqus/Explicit to effectively handle severely nonlinear behavior makes it very attractive for the simulation of many quasi-static events, such as rolling of hot metal and slow crushing of energy absorbing devices.
Abaqus/Explicit benefits from the same modeling and execution techniques as Abaqus/Standard, plus many of its own. The foundational unity of Abaqus/Standard and Abaqus/Explicit also allows an analysis in one method to be continued in the other.
With Abaqus/CAE you can quickly create, edit, monitor, diagnose, and visualize advanced Abaqus analyses. The intuitive interface integrates modeling, analysis, job management, and results visualization. Abaqus/CAE supports feature-based parametric modeling, interactive and scripted operation, and GUI customization.
Users can create geometry, import CAD models for meshing, or integrate geometry-based meshes that do not have associated CAD geometry. Associative Interfaces for CATIA V5, SolidWorks, and Pro/ENGINEER enable synchronization of CAD and CAE assemblies and enable rapid model updates with no loss of user-defined analysis features.

Abaqus/CFD provides advanced computational fluid dynamics capabilities with extensive support for preprocessing and postprocessing provided in Abaqus/CAE. These scalable parallel CFD simulation capabilities address a broad range of nonlinear coupled fluid-thermal and fluid-structural problems.
Abaqus/CFD can solve laminar and turbulent, thermal convective, and deforming-mesh ALE incompressible flow problems.
XFlow offers particle-based Lattice-Boltzmann technology for high fidelity CFD applications. XFlow’s state-of-the-art technology enables users to address complex CFD workflows involving high frequency transient aerodynamics with real moving geometries, complex multiphase flows, free surface flows and fluid-structure interactions.
XFlow’s automatic lattice generation and adaptive refinement capabilities minimize user inputs thereby reducing time and effort in the meshing and pre-processing phase of a typical CFD workflow. This enables engineers to focus the majority of their efforts on design and optimization.
Tosca Optimization Suite provides fast and powerful structural and flow optimization solutions based on FEA and CFD simulations.
Tosca Structure delivers optimized designs for maximized performance and minimized weight. It uncovers new design possibilities through automated iteration guided by user parameters.
Tosca Fluid enables topology optimization for fluid flow systems and components. Given a defined flow task and available package space, Tosca Fluid helps you achieve the highest flow performance, quality and eco-efficiency.
Isight/SIMULIA Execution Engine
Isight combines cross-disciplinary models and applications together in a simulation process flow, automates their execution, explores the resulting design space, and identifies the optimal design parameters based on required constraints.
Isight’s ability to manipulate and map parametric data between process steps and automate multiple simulations greatly improves efficiency, reduces manual errors, and accelerates the evaluation of product design alternatives.
Simpack is the market leader for simulating transient non-linear system behavior with flexible bodies, even up into the acoustic range. Simpack enables engineers to generate and solve virtual 3D models in order to predict and visualize motion, coupling forces, and stresses of any mechanical or mechatronic system.
Diversity and good connectivity to various control, hydraulic, and FE software enable Simpack to be easily integrated into any manufacturer’s already-established development processes.
CST Studio Suite
CST Studio Suite is a package of tools for electromagnetic and EM-centric multiphysics simulation. The “Complete Technology” philosophy of CST means that solvers for applications across the EM spectrum are contained within a single user interface, and can be coupled in many different combinations.
Common subjects of analysis include the performance, efficiency and installed performance of antennas and filters, electromagnetic compatibility and interference (EMC/EMI), exposure of the human body to fields, electro-mechanical effects in motors and generators, and thermal effects in high-power devices.
A single device may involve many components and require a detailed multiphysics simulation. Co-design with other SIMULIA products allows EM simulation to be integrated into the design flow and drive the development process from the earliest stages.
