Lab testing on rock samples is a slow, expensive process with poor reproducibility, forcing engineers to make decisions based on limited data. SIMULIA DigitalROCK provides a virtual lab for analyzing reservoir rock samples. The DigitalROCK computational modeling solution uses a high-resolution 3D image of a rock sample as input to determine important fluid related properties including pore size distribution, absolute permeability, relative permeability, and capillary pressures.
